CIB & Securities Services” teams as part of the Banking Sector:

Financial institutions have evolved significantly over the past decade, driven by increased regulatory constraints and competition. Within the Banking Sector, the” CIB & Securities Services” team supports Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, and Securities Services in developing revenues, enhance their competitive advantages and profitability, managing risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

YOUR ROLE IN THE CIB & SECURITIES SERVICES TEAM –

As a senior or a confirmed consultant, you will support our development by covering the following dimensions:

Operational Strategy and Organization:

  • Review and analysis of FO-to-BO processes.
  • Process optimization of the Operations functions (FO, MO & BO).
  • Support in developing operational strategies / Proposing organizational targets for these functions.
  • Designing evolution trajectories for business practices, processes, and organizations.

Business or Regulatory Expertise:

  • Support for customer activity analytics.
  • Diagnosis of business practices related to the considered business lines (Capital Markets, Transaction Banking, Securities Services), and feedback on best business practices.
  • Impact analysis and consideration of regulatory changes (MIF II, CRD/CRR, SFTR, STS, BMR, PRIIPS, EMIR, CFTC, etc.).
  • Implementation of control and compliance systems or AML/FCT (AML).

Project Management:

  • Leading the coordination and animation of projects: planning, action follow-up, support to steering and project committees, risk management.
  • Facilitating client meetings and workshops.
  • Coordinating the deployment of business, product, and IT solutions with significant business impacts.
  • Leading change management alongside FO, MO, or BO operational staff.

In your operational interventions and as part of the firm’s internal development, you will:

  • Manage client relations on existing assignments and participate in the development of new opportunities.
  • Supervise consultants in the context of missions or projects within the firm (working group, training, etc.);
  • Actively contribute to our policy of publishing the Global Financial Services practice (writing articles, presenting sector analysis, etc.).

YOUR PROFILE

  • We are seeking a candidate with a superior academic background, ideally holding a degree from a top-tier university or business school.
  • The ideal candidate should have 3 to 7 years of experience, preferably in a consulting firm, Big 4, or in project management roles within major investment banks or custodian banks. This experience should reflect a strong foundation in financial services, an understanding of market dynamics, and an ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Fluency in English is essential for this role, as our work environment is international, and you will be engaging with clients and teams across different geographies. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable and willing to travel as our projects often require on-site presence and close collaboration with our clients around the world.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an ability to think strategically, and a capacity to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
